Chase and his teachers are truly the best in the city. They are both firm but supportive to each student - encouraging any skill level to be the possibly best they can be and pushing them to accomplish musical goals they didn’t realize they could achieve!

FAQs

  • On average, each student will receive approximately 17 lessons per semester. Amount of lessons can fluctuate depending on when the semester begins and ends, and holidays. Please refer to our school calendar for school closures.

  • Each semester we start fresh, and the schedule is cleared. Current students do have scheduling priority ahead of new incoming students, but are not guaranteed the same lesson day/time from the previous semester. Lessons are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis.

  • We strongly encourage, and prepare each student to participate in recitals and showcases, but it is not required that students perform in each recital.

  • In order to see progress with any discipline, practice is required. While we don't require you to have an actual acoustic piano, we do require that you have an adequate instrument (e.g. full sized 88-key weighted keyboard with appropriate stand, bench, and pedal(s), upright acoustic piano, baby grand piano, or full-sized grand piano).

If you are unsure about what type of instrument you need, please ask or message us directly for more information.

  • We require a minimum of four days of practice per week. These four practice days do not include lesson day(s). Time spent each day practicing is dependent upon the student's age, level, and area of instruction. For more information on specifics in practice, consult your instructor, or send us a message.

“As a piano teacher, Chase inspired my 8-year-old to work hard and to challenge himself. He had unlimited patience for my son's energy level and made lessons fun while accomplishing so much. Chase makes difficult concepts accessible and motivates through his own passion for his craft!” - A. Broussard
